I know this has been mentioned before and I have stayed neutral in the past and not responded. Recently I posted a couple of comments on a thread that is still active. Several of the posts were getting a little argumentative but not as much as I have seen in other posts. These post were deleted. A couple were deleted with an explanation as to why but a couple along with mine were deleted without explanation.

I would have liked to have had an explanation as to why mine were deleted. One of the post was just a thank you.

Instead of the post just "disappearing" I would suggest as others have that an explanation be given.

Let me make it clear. I am not questioning the Mods. I am only asking for clarification so I understand what caused my post to "disappear".

There have been post the last few days with customers very upset as they cannot get in touch with customer service or use the chat feature. They are here demanding the Mods help them. I think Things are so overwhelming right now the last thing on their minds is an explanation for zapping a post.

I'm surprised QVC hasn't shut down these forums until things start improving. Of course this is my opinion only.

If you quote or mention a poster whose post later gets deleted, yours will also be deleted.  Even if it's completely 'innocent'.

It is understandable that they might be feeling stressed handling the forum and customer services responsibilities. That might be the problem with the "zapping" of some post.

Whether it is the "last thing on their mind" or not is not an excuse. It only takes a second to write the reason.

The one post of mine was not argumentative nor political nor associated with the posts that were removed.

If it is getting too much to handle maybe the forum should be closed.

@Mz iMac  .......  I don't know if your post was meant to be negative toward my post or not and if it was that is alright. I just wanted to let you know that I did think your post was funny. I have to say I have enjoyed quite a lot of your "comical" post. Thank you for adding humor. (And, no I am not being sarcastic ..... I meant it.)

It wasn't.  Smiley Very Happy

Spoiler

When you see my "lurking" gif it means I am anxious to read all the responses.  So I broke my own rule by responding to you.  🤫, don't tell anybody.

@proudlyfromNJ  - They've been poofing threads with no explanation long before the Corona issues began.  When I asked for an explanation on a proofed thread, I was then proofed.  I agree that a little explanation would be nice.

The way I see it is.... this is QVC's forum. They allow us to come here and share (which I rarely read or post here anymore). When people complain about the Moderators and why they do certain things... I just think they can do whatever they want.

This is Q's private website.  They don't have an obligation to explain why a post was deleted.  It is what it is.
