If the point is for people to tune in and continue watching (and buying) then the programming should facilitate that scenario, not discourage it. Hours of repetitive showings hogs the air time to the exclusion of other items When the TSV is a dud it gets worse—the hosts get increasingly hyper as the day progresses and the reasons we should buy it can cross over to ridiculousness.

Sustained presentations obviously work or they wouldn't keep doing them. HSN does the same thing at midnight, drives me nuts, in fact I don't watch for them anymore.

I think they buy so darn many of the TSV that it has to be shown incessantly to sell them all. Years past the TSV was bought in smaller quantities and they sold out, so the presentations ended earlier. The smaller quantities also meant a higher degree of quality control. When they order 150,000 TSV D&C pants or 100,000 pairs of Clark’s, quality suffers.
Clark’s has really been zapped by reviewers who are tired of fit issues. And I believe 2 recent TSVs were pulled from inventory. I know I have sent back ill fitting TSV pants (as much as 2” length difference between 2 pairs of pants of the same size).

Remember back in the day when you could only purchase 1 TSV - and they often sold out early in the day......and the TSV used to be a value as well - those days are gone.

@Mom2Dogs I remember when the TSV was presented and it was a brand new item and they would spend 10 minutes on it, as opposed to HSN which spent 30 minutes on their TSV. I remember Lisa Robertson selling an Iolite ring and it sold out in 8 minutes. The phones where jammed, automated ordering was jammed, I had to keep calling over and over until I could get through, and then my ring size was gone and wait listed.
I haven't seen that happen in years......

OK, this whole TSV air time has gotten ridiculous. HOW many times do these people need to REPEAT themselves? Customers DO have brains - I think we get it the first time!
This constant ranting and repeating have gotten totally ridiculous!! I have no idea how anyone can make it thru watching an entire show featuring the TSV, much less any other show of late either!!!
What are they babbling about half the time? - NOTHING that has do with the item!
I do not care what the vendor says - all is fantastic to them, and I do not care what the host thinks either - they are there to sell.
Move on to another item!!!!
