I just chatted with one your representatives regarding your so-called reduced shipping rates.  Last week, I purchased three pair of the TSV sandals and was charged $15.00 for shipping on the sandals.  All three sandals were purchased on the same order.  With all of the online shopping competition, might I suggest that you rethink your shipping cost strategy.

I am returning the sandals since I can find a similar sandal on Amazon.  Furthermore, I can receive the merchandise in two days and the shipping will be free.  Yes, I have to pay a nominal fee every year to receive free shipping, but it surely beats your so-called reduced shipping rates.

I was going to buy a medium piece of Carolyn Pollack jewelry but saw the shipping was 5 bucks. I thought most if not all jewelry was 3 bucks. That didn't last long. Needless to say I didn't order it.

Wrong is still wrong just because you benefited from it.

You may want to rethink your decision, even though you can get free shipping.  It will be approximately $36, if you use the prepaid return label, to return those sandals.  The shipping charges are disclosed at the time of purchase.  Not sure how you didn't know what they were.

I couldn't agree more with all three of you.  I am disabled and cannot just run out to a store, a mall, etc., when the mood strike or I need something.

The shipping costs are ridiculous here and getting worse. Last year, right after the supposed improved s/h.  I ordered a bunch of cotton tee shirts from the Joan Rivers line. The shipping costs were nearly 15% of the order. Lighwtweight tee's coming to the same addy in the same package? Ludicrous! Look at other companies~The huge selection and power of Amazon, Macys routinely offers free shipping, as does Nordstroms, and Dillard's. Even smaller companies do....Talbots, Chicos, Eddie Bauer, Lands End. All of these companies have special days, free s/h after a $25.00 order, loyalty codes. I could go on but, all of us know. And by the way...all these retailers have longer and easier return policies!

QVC preys on our impulse, &  conveinance of shopping while being mildly entertained. They use repeetive tag lines as to why we cannot live another day w/o said item.

There are things I enjoy from QVC. However, for everyday item and gifts, I will not use QVC....I will simply change the channel!

You think QVC rates are high?   I paid $15, to have Evine ship two ring in two small boxes in one envelope.   They used the UPS/USPS Care Post or whatever they call it and it took 11 days to get to me.   The PO lost it and I spent most of the week trying to track it down.

I knew what the shipping was for a single pair of sandals. It has been quite sometime, like over a year ago, that I have purchased more than one of the same item. When I checked out online, the shipping costs were not $15.00. If the costs were, I would not have purchased three pairs of the sandals. The shipping costs were estimated to be $9.00, which I still felt were high, but was okay paying. I brought this to the attention of the person I was chatting with and was told that purchases placed online are only estimates and never fully billed until the items shipped. If QVC has so-called reduced shipping rates, then why would online orders show shipping costs as estimates? This makes no sense at all.

The monetary value of the item seems to have something to do with shipping costs.   They seem to be making up new rules on a daily basis so nobody knows exactly what they'll be charged.

ITA ~ I am sorry you had such a bad experience. I've all but stopped ordering from Evine. Their clothing (IMO) is of poor quality and out of trend & style. Their jewellery from several lines are of great quality. But, there is one line....with their spokesman from NJ that has awful quality of stones and production.

The one thing I do order occasionally is Waterford. They truly do have great prices.

But you, are complete correct and I agree with you. I chose not to mention other networks~for no specific reasons.

Lastly, there are so many great sites out there now specific types of & for close to custom jewellery. Evine doesn't need to tell me what I need; I can find it!

Whaaat???? The first time I'm charged a different amount for s&h than what showed when I checked out, is the last purchase from QVC that I'll ever make!

I would call CS back and verify if that is true with another rep or a CS supervisor!

Can I ask, are you returning the sandals just because of the shipping costs?  Do you like the sandals?  Why would you want to return an item and then repurchase a smiliar item from Amazon?  You have to pay to return them and you are paying a fee for shipping from Amazon even though it is small.  If you like them then I would keep the sandals and purchase from other vendors going forward.
