I never undersood Shawn saying that she wears readers. Readers are for reading - everything else is blurry. How do you wear readers all day long and not take them off and on. Something doesn't add up.

The OP simply said the glasses were distracting. What is the problem with that? The reactions to her comment are the real issue, people jumping on her instead of allowing a basic opinion. A little tolerance for other people’s perspectives goes a long way.

On a different note, I think Shawn has beautiful eyes.

The other day Shawn had round white glasses on. They were so distracting in that, all I thought about while watching was how much I hated her glasses. No idea what she was selling. I changed the channel. If QVC wonders why they are losing viewers, maybe they should actually watch their shows.

Judgemental much!? Gosh why does it matter to anyone else what glasses Shawn wears? Lots of posters say they wear what they like. And how does anyone know if she "needs" them? She is the age where she just might and she has been wearing them for a long while and very regular, so who really knows?

I love unusual glasses frames.

I pushed it while working but still maintained the appropriate corporate look.

One I retired, I got what I wanted. I've had pink, green, and other colors. Right now my frames have color pattern that reminds me of flower power 60s.

I don't judge what another person chooses to wear. To each their own.

@Skyegirl21 EXACTLY. But, the focus should be on the products, not the hosts. Apparently, she wants to be the main attraction, and that is a real turn off to me and many others.

Doesn't make any sense to me either. How can she see anything besides small text with readers on while hosting?

The round glasses always remind me of The Minions. And while I think they are very funny, a grown woman wearing them just looks immature (which we know applies to Shawn). Anyway, I hardly watch anymore because everything looks the same and is too expensive. I still watch David, though. But, not when it is all food.
