The day I retired, I stopped wearing corporate-looking glasses. I've had bright pink, bold black, green, and clear since then. Right now I'm wearing a frame with a small flower print in yellow, pink, and a hint of gray.

Stop complaining about superficial things.

Posters can post WHATEVER they want to just like YOU DO, complaints or other wise.

I agree and I posted mine.

@CalminHeart  -  Then why are you telling other posters to "stop complaining".  They are free to post what they want. You're not a moderator.

The white glasses and her sunless tanned face looked terrible, did not compliment each other.

You missed my point. I'm saying people need to stop being moderators of other people's choices.  It doesn't matter if we like or don't like someone's choices in glasses, hair, clothes, etc etc.  It's really none of our business.

It seems these giant dorky glasses are a thing now.  So glad I'm retired and out of the workplace.   smh

What does being out of the workplace have to do with a trend in glasses? If you don't like them you wouldn't wear them. Retired or not.

maybe because posting mean things about people, especially poster, hosts and  vendors is digging the dregs.....and just bullying in a way. It isn't opinion. It's complaining and gossiping, there are all different  things. That's my opinion about complaining and gossiping.

@FranandZoe   she's 53 years old.   Most people need readers around the mid 40s.  Why do you think she's lying

I've heard her say her vision is fine; she just likes to wear them, like an accessory.  But that was a few years ago, like maybe three years back.  I don't know if now she actually needs them, tho.  Whatever, they are a distraction, and that is not good for the product she's trying to highlight.

@Northray  I'd rather be distracted by glasses than yelling and clapping like a seal.

There's always a lot to be thankful for if you take time to look for it.
For example, I am sitting here thinking how nice it is that wrinkles don't hurt.

Re: Shawn’s Eyeglasses

[ Edited ]

some people just wear them as a trademark.  Obviously it's her thing. Sometimes I think people can watch too much QVC to have hosts irritate them so much. If you shop a lot, especially all day I think it's better, faster and more informative if you go online and get the photos, videos , facts ...without all the grief of dealing with someone you don't care for.    I agree, many hosts can grate on the nerves.  That's why I quit watching years ago. I don't miss it, but can still get what I need, 24 hrs a day!  Also, the posters here are so good at helping with descriptions, fabric and such.  They would help too!  JMHO
