Did anyone watch Josie Maran's two hours with Shawn last evening? I couldn't stop laughing when Shawn was trying to open a lipstick and Josie said something to her under her breath and Shawn became angry and caught  herself saying well my hands are so greasy but then stopped herself and said slippery. Wow it's worth watching these shows even if you don't purchase anything and nothing else is on tv.Smiley Surprised

I missed it.

It’s doesn’t ‘t sound like something i’d really be interested in watching.

What’s the excitement in that? I’d rather be reading a good book.

Was Shawn implying Josie's products were greasy ??

i like Argon Oil. I incorporate into an inexpensive moisturizer. But I get mine at Trader Joe's at a fraction of the price QVC charges. I think it's about $6 a bottle and my moisturizer is about $4.  QVC can't touch that.

Reever, I also bought the big bottle of argon oil at Trader Joes in the stopper bottle. Could you please  advise  me on the best way to use it? Thank you!

Yes, I heard Shawn say her hands were too greasy to open up the lipstick!  That's why she is selling hand creams..........however, they are only about 2 oz. each, much too small for the price in my opinion.

I simply take a few pumps of moisturizer in my hand, then place 3 drops of argon oil in it, mix it and spread across my face.

I also have the same argan oil. It’s great. I also use it in my hair after washing. Just a tiny bit.

And then can you put makeup on over it? Or do you save it for bedtime? Thanks!

I mix my pure argan oil with my body cream and my face cream, and use it full strength on my heels. I usually buy my argan oil elsewhere as I think the prices on Q are too high also, but I will buy her argan milk, which my face loves. If it comes in a well-priced set, then the other products are an ok value too.

A caution on using argan oil and/or argan styling products on light colored hair, especially white, if you are in the sun: mine is silver white; six weeks ago I noticed the top layers of my hair had turned a dull champagne color, almost overnight—it’s from the natural yellow pigment in the oil accelerated, I think, by time in the sun, thus the top layer turned while the underneath was ok. I used a clarifying shampoo once a week but it wasn’t enough to defeat the yellow pigment this summer.

I quit using all my argan hair products and regularly use Ion clarifying shampoo; the yellow has faded, but a hair cut or two will be needed to get my hair back to normal. For moisture in my hair I now look for products with coconut oil.
