The only thing worse than Dan and that Ladder.....is Dan and those flashlights.......horrible ideas for giving at Christmas seems to be the QVC motto.

I am not climbing on any ladder no matter how stable they make it look. In fact someone on set fell off of one those Little Giants. I guess they are selling to women who are stumped for a gift or been specifically told her guy wants a ladder, the men who tune in, and those ladies who are willing to do the chores I am not. They must sell a ton of these ladders or they wouldn't present them.

At some point I have had to admit that I am not their target audience (age, yes; but product selection, no). I too check the program guide and find little of interest this time of year. I have learned that the host gift shows, regardless of who is the host, are all the same core products for that particular 24 hours (and some are staples in the rotation for months) and don't bother. I just am not going to gift anyone with a gallon jug of Purity face wash, dusters with animal print handles (it makes the chore fun!), a hat with built-in flashlight, or a humidifier.
