This is a topic that I've really never seen before.  I was looking at the hearing aids that Shaun was showing earlier, around 10pm.  I looked at the reviews, and there were over 1,000.  All of them were highly rated, and it said, "Originally posted on audienhearing.com". I looked for any reviews from qvc buyers, NONE!  You used to be able to leave a question, not anymore!  AI answers only the subjects that are listed, nothing more! I had bought them directly from the company, and had a terrible time with them!  I couldn't even find the ability to give a review, which in the past you were able to even if you bought it somewhere else.  You've never been able to do it on HSN.

i have seen this happen on other products.  So, what happens is that the QVC buyer can't review, since there are only reviews from the company itself, and no questions other than the ones listed at the end of the product.  I find that to be problematic.  Does anyone have anything to add, agree, disagree, or suggest?

Using reviews from the actual manufacturer's website is very common.  Target, Macy's, Walmart, etc all do it to provide data they may not have or do t have enough of.

There is definitely the ability to ask any question you'd like:

Don't waste your money on those ...  I've tried them, too.    What I really need costs $5 grand from an audiologist...and THAT is beyond budget right now.

@Desertdi

My cousin recently retired from education where she was assigned to assist deaf students in a high school.  She had sent me a recommendation email  two years ago but I can't find the screen shot.  All I remember is her recommendation for hearing aids from Costco....  best price and good recommendations.

I think the issue of reviews from non-QVC customers has come up before.  Personally, I read all reviews before I purchase an item and there have been times when the item might have many 5 star reviews but only one or two reviews from actual QVC customers, which are not 5 stars, so I pass.  I prefer to trust the QVC customer experience.

As for asking questions, while you have the opportunity to ask a question, there are times when I have asked a question and the response is that the information is not available.  🌹

When I saw the price, I knew that they were worthless.

A lot of retailers do this. It's nothing new.
