These sizes usually go first so why don't you have more available? I'm sure I'm not the only one who misses out on items that sell out because there were not that many to start with. Please and thank you!

I spent hours searching through clearance for bargains.  Almost always, without fail, the only sizes available are S and XS.  They may sell out in some extra popular items, but, as a rule, those sizes seem to be plentiful.

Having worked in clothing retail for many years, the smaller sizes are the ones left over most often.  The average woman is a size 12 in the US, so the size assortment always skews larger.  

Take a look at the clearance section here and sort by size---lots of xxs and xs available.

I think whatever size we are looking for seems as though they don't carry enough. For me, also the XXS and XS size, I find so many items only have the larger sizes when looking on Clearance. This is what I found in the smallest sizes compared to Plus sizes today in Fashion.

The Plus sizes have 5,741 items and the Smallest have 4,960. 

For the "average" sized woman as @Tori3569 states there are 5,314 items. So really it is pretty close inventory for a range of sizes. 

On a side note, QVC has vanity sizing so the smaller sizes do sell because many ladies that are a true size medium or large can get by with a Small. I am not a true XXS but most of the time that is what I have to order from QVC to get the best fit.

They have taken vanity sizing to a whole level.  Look at the body measurements.  In what world is a S a 39.5 inch hip?????  Makes it hard to order.

Unfortunately so many people are overweight in this country. The larger sizes sell more
