I posted this originally in viewpoints because this is just my viewpoint, but someone suggested I post here as well. Please please please - ladies stop posting reviews for products that you haven't purchased and/or tried. There are 25 "reviews" for the new Bare Minerals foundation that hasn't even been released to the public yet! Reviews really help inform my decision - is it true to size, is the color right, is the fabric scratchy, etc. It helps no one when people leave a starred "review" on an item they haven't experienced. That is not a review, it's an opinion, and a baseless one at best. In fact, it only hurts the manufacturer if it's a negative review. Please QVC, only approve verified reviews from customers that have purchased the product. Yes i realize that this will prevent people from reviewing if they bought the product elsewhere, but if I'm going to buy it from QVC I'm really only interested in people's experience with the exact same item they also got from the Q. I don't think this is being done by the ladies on the boards. I never recognize the names that commit this sin. You might want to direct a written complaint to the corporate offices.

I posted on your earlier post on Viewpoints. HSN handles reviews the way they should be handled. You are not permitted to post a review until a couple of days after you've received the product! What a concept! Get that, QVC??????

I agree corporate needs to fix the problem, but I also wanted to get the word out amongst the shoppers who are doing it. I feel like the people who do it are unaware that it isn't actually helpful? Sometimes it's just people who love the person selling it like Mally or Isaac or Lisa R. I love them too but I'm not about to five star something if I haven't tried it.
