QVC: Since you raised your prices on pretty much every item, by anywhere from $3.00 to $5.00 per item, and many of these items have been in the inventory for a long time, I predict you're going to lose quite a bit of sales. I have a few things in my wish list category, all have gone up $5.00 each. Since the items have been in your inventory for quite a while, it's certainly not due to rising prices of new items. And the days after the pandemic, people are looking for clearance items, sales, and lower prices. I don't know what your strategy is on raising the prices unilaterally, but look at what happened to JCPenney.

While I do not know what is in your Wish List.... How do you know that the items have been in the warehouse the entire time. Items could have been re-ordered and the Re-Order price is higher then the last time the items was purchased from the vendor. This is happening all over the place. I wouldn't take the fact that the entire time something is available on the QVC website there is only 1 order for the item, many I'm sure are re-ordered multiple times.

prices on everything have skyrocketed. what was $5.00 last week may be $6-7.00 this week.
cost is rising at a ridulous pace and salaries have stagnated.

Same could be said about the price of gasoline.
There is gas in the holding tank, when the price goes up.
Surely the tank isn't empty when they raise the price, so why not keep the old price on the gas already in the holding tank, and have the higher price on the new gas?
But it doesn't work that way, does it?
No, it doesn't.
The same holds true for the items that QVC sells.

Because I purchased the same item....last year! It was a TSV, and I wanted it in another color. I doubt it was a reorder.

I stopped shopping QVC and HSN and its liberating. You can find products elsewhere. I was loyal for 20+ years. In the last year I bought maybe 4 times from both (combined). Bagels, vitamins. Big change for me and I am happy. I visit the boards just because I have been looking at these boards for the same amount of time.

@viva923 You're being really conservative on increased price points.
I saw prices from some of yesterday's jewelry shows increase anywhere from $30 to $50.00.

Have you taken a look around you lately?
Everything is going up in price everywhere!
Have you priced groceries lately? Is anything the same price that it was this time last year?
No! It isn't.
So quit acting like QVC is the only place that have increased their prices, and that they are "evil" for having done so.
Are you also this outraged at all of the other places that have raised their prices from last year, or do you only single out QVC for doing what everybody else has done?

I notice they increase prices right around the time they hold a free shipping event.
