QVC changed my life!

I live paycheck to paycheck, so until I came to QVC I went to the big box stores and had to buy cheaply made, cheaply priced household goods. If the vacuum broke, it was a trip to Wally world for whatever junky one they had for $100 or less. A year later I would have to do it again because the vacuum no longer worked! I Love, Love, Love easy pay and QVC ! Since January I've gotten so many nice things. Thank you QVC, I have nicer things than most everyone I know, and The easy pay is just that, EASY !

check out HSN and Evine. They have 6 payments usually and free shipping a lot of the time. Oh yeah, NO TAX!!!!

I wish that all it would take to "change my life" is easypay on a tv shopping channel....sigh.

Don't mean to be a Debbie Downer but please be careful. EZ-pay can get you into trouble if you are not very careful and mindful of how you are using it. Trust me.

Oh don't say that! They changed your life by spending more than what you got coming in.

That reminds me of a guy I used to work with, he believed that because the credit card company kept increasing his credit limit, he needed to spend more....what's wrong with that logic...a lot!

There is nothing the Q or any shopping channel sells that is an absolute necessity.

That's a little unfair. I don't know if people realize what's it's like to live paycheck to paycheck. I think the point the OP made was rather than buying something mediocre that has to be frequently replaced they have purchased better quality spending less in the long run.

It might not be a good practice but for many people it's a necessity. I have a dear friend that has had major problems, health and otherwise, that is really struggling. I try to help as much as I can but I know from my discussions with her just how hard it is just to get by. When most people say "I'm broke" they mean they've spent or Overspent from their budget. When people living paycheck to paycheck say "I'm broke" they don't have gas money and are eating saltine crackers and whatever they can scrounge together, and go without medication until their next check.

But yes, it can get out of control.
