I ordered a ring on 10/4/19. I paid in full. At checkout, it would not let me use my PO Box. It says unable to deliver and to chose my house address. I ALWAYS receive my mail and packages at my PO Box. and never have a problem. USPS will hold your packages and leave a yellow slip in your box or they will put your package in a lock box in the lobby and put the key in your box to retrieve it when you are able. I do not have delivery at my home, no mailbox and never have. This is intentional to keep from having my mail or packages stolen as I live in a rural area. Also, most everyone else here does not have mail delivery. I have received very large packages (Generator) from QVC at my home address only because it was being shipped by UPS, otherwise, it all goes to my PO Box. My problem is that, according to QVC, the vendor of the ring does not allow delivery to a PO Box and will only use my house address. I find this silly. I called QVC. I was told by a CS rep that it will be shipped by UPS. Ok, no problem as it should come straight to my home. Well, yes problem. It started out with UPS and was Mail Innovations and handed off to USPS, but with my house address listed. Of course, it was delivered to the post office and upon seeing that I do not have home delivery, they promptly returned it to shipper. QVC said it was sent by vendor but the package was marked shipped by QVC and is currently being returned to QVC..I am furious. It was ordered on the 4th and today is the 12th. I may never receive it and really want it. This has happened before with a AB glass rosary from Ireland from St. Patrick's show. It was shipped to my home address (QVC site would not let me chose my PO Box for this, only my home address) and it was returned because of no mailbox and it was lost and never found. I paid in full for that too. It was scanned and sent from a QVC warehouse that time too and not straight from the vendor as QVC stated. QVC needs to let all vendors know that USPS DOES deliver all packages to their customers as long as they are not huge (like a generator, that is what UPS is for) because not everyone receives mail at their homes and only receives the mail at a PO Box. Mail and packages received this way are safer and never stolen out of a home mail box or off of a porch. I know this because I retired from USPS and was a City Letter Carrier for many years.
