Suggestion Box

Just turned in QVC (via QVC Plus/Amazon Firestick) and now there’s an annoying box in the top right of screen to “shop the show/product details.” It not only blocks the faces of hosts/presenters, but totally unnecessary. Please remove!

I dont see a way to get rid of this box from my Fire Stick QVC+HSN+ app. But it is not blocking faces for long if they do a wide shot for a few secindsand if you want more info on the product or what else is offered in the show, i find it oretty handy.

I love the ( new to me) app.

@Kelly7387 I agree, it's awful. I switched to watching QVC Live through the YouTube app on the fire stick. No annoying things on the screen there 😃

I have a TV  with the Firestick and one with Roku.  The Roku is so much more dependable and easy to use.  I have constant problems with the Firestick, never had one with Roku.

@Kelly7387 - Just in case you haven't tried this, typically you can use one or more of the arrow keys to either make the box disappear or click over to the box where an "X" will appear that you can click to close it. If neither of those options works, try going into your settings and checking for options you can turn off or disable (one used to refer to "banners," but I haven't used my FireStick in over a year, so I'm not sure if the labels have changed). This about the QVC+HSN+ App itself.  Not the QVC channel that streams included in peoples regular channel line up. Not Amazon Fire Stick. But its a box that is in the upper Right side of the screen with two options in the bix to choise Shop The Show and the other is Product Detail...this box is on the screen if you are viewing through the Q+H+ App ( which folks can download for free on smart tvs  through the internet. I love it because i liked watching Q1,2 and 3 when i had cable and my YouTube TV service only has the Q1. Its a great App, much more than these 3 channels. 

Curiously, I did try your suggestions using my Fire Stick remote (3rd generation). Got to the Manage Apps area of my settings. Picked the QVC/HSN+ APP...no options to fix this listed.

If i see anything useable on my other 2 tvs as i have different Fire Stick remotes for all three...ill come back and post if i find a solution for the OP

I'm wanting to get rid of cable and testing out the QVC app which I've watched before. The picture quality is great through the Firestick but the annoying box shop the show/product details is on the upper right, covers faces and you can't get rid of it! I've never noticed before but it's awful. I hope they give the option to get rid of it. It's on all the QVC and HSN channels.

I just did a test as I have 3 firesticks on my 3 TV'S all different brands. The only firestick that showed that box that you can't get rid of is an older firestick that does not have all the netflix/hulu buttons on the remote. I tried on 2 of my TVS with the same result. The other firesticks shows the word menu only in the upper right but disappears on its own after a couple seconds. I switched the older firestick to my office TV since I only "listen" to that one while working!! Hope this helps.
