@Q4uOh and like many of us have said-we do-turn it off-same with commercials that are too loud and obnoxious-can't get to the remote fast enough!
"When will they ever learn" (Judy Collins?)

There are a few hosts, and vendors that do talk much too loud. To me, they belong on a circus midway. I just change the channel. It's obnoxious when they start that. If they are trying to get my attention, it's a massive failure! I automatically change the channel. I won't be yelled at in my own home!

I have changed many a channels because of very loud commercials....while the q doesn't have commercials...some of the hosts and vendors are so loud...and i change the channel here, too......
Oh how i wish they all had to be trained to speak on air like many years ago...then their voices would be like Carolyn Gracies...she is the most pleasant person to listen to...calm smooth voice...

While Tara with Temp-tations doesn't talk too loud, she talks so fast she sounds like an auctioneer. She belongs on a carnival midway, too.

I personally have stopped watching the product review. I cringe when a vendor is trying to present a product, something they have extensive knowledge about and the host over talks the vendor. It's like they have to get their words in regardless. Let the vendor make the presentation and respect them. I have seen so much of this it has turned me off to watch the presentations. They don't do that to Judith R. but I did notice that they do that to other jewelry vendors, I just want to shout at them to shut up and listen and maybe you will learn about the product. These are not new to the show hosts, some are old timers and I miss the old ones that left the show. Please show respect to your vendors, ladies, and stop your shouting, I can hear you. If I bother to watch I will listen, but only when you show respect.

Marylynn has an awful speaking voice, but then again, so do a few other vendors as well as many hosts. The high pitched squealing, shouting and phony enthusiasm is quite a turn off. QVC many times sounds like a Billy Mays informercial. QVC never used to be like that. The hosts had pleasant voices.
When I go out shopping in the malls, people don't talk to me like that and I sure am not going to invite people like that into my home that shoput and squeal, so I'll watch something else lol.

@SharkE: LOL. At my house, DH yells at football games.
And, O/T, but l have to mention: I love your moving avatar, but every time l see it, l jump for a second, thinking it's a little bug crawling across my iPad screen! LOL.

I agree with all you said, except the part about Carolyn. At times she's over the top as well. She gets quite loud and over pronounces a lot of words, which I find quite annoying.

Shouting? Screaming? Seriously?!
Some may talk fast and with enthusiasm, and louder than some that have soft voices. But I have never heard shouting or screaming. That makes it sound like someone is arguing

I would agree with shouting and talking fast. I quit watching another shopping channnel years ago for the same reason and have stopped watching QVC for the same reason. Your enthusiasm doen't create the same for me. I really don't care if it sells out before I can jump on it. There are many other options than the ones you offer.
