OP, the q had 1/2 price shipping after the first item one day last week. Either weds or thurs. I put two clothing items in my cart and one item was $3 s&h and the other $1.50. They were two different item numbers.

I rarely buy clothes from the Q anymore, quality went down and prices went up. I rarely order shoes for the same reason, tired of sending things back. I mostly order from sites with free shipping when you spend so much money and/or free shipping on returns. Needless to say, I've been saving a ton of money.

Second your opinion. My holiday shopping easy peasy!! Bill to Ship. Special hugs xoxo-Team Qvc here on the forums. 💗
@BaltimoreBruce wrote:Thanks QVC for your great selection, prices and phenomenal customer service. I had a box of Harry London chocolates stolen from my porch and you replaced it free of charge with no questions asked. My entire house is full of QVC purchases and I love them all. I am a loyal customer and will always support you! Thanks again!

Even though things could be done better at the Q, they are still #1 in my book compared to the other shopping channels.

I recently ordered two items from HSN and was thrilled when a box arrived with both items in 1 box, what a concept. Oh and I had free shipping on one item!

I definitely prefer to shop on sites that combine shipping for items if I'm buying more than one thing. I wish the Q would do that.
I can go to another site and fill a cart until I hit a minimum amount and then get free shipping. Then the items all arrive in one box OR if one is back-ordered, they ship that item later, at their cost. Plus I don't have to pay return shipping at most of these sites.
The only advantage to using QVC when purchasing some items is the easy pay, and the extended holiday return period. If I don't need either of those things, it's usually more cost-effective to order elsewhere, and I often get my order more quickly too...which is really weird. How is it that a company that has to compile your multiple-item order before they ship it can get your order to you faster than a company who just slaps a mailing label on an item and sends it on its way? I don't get it.

Because, if you're talking Amazon they usually have most items all in their own huge regional warehouses and the multi-item order ships from one warehouse - whereas with QVC, at least half of their items and probably more are shipped to you not from a QVC warehouse but from the vendor's warehouse, wherever it might be, using the vendor's staff and infrastructure. The *other* half of your order might ship from a QVC warehouse - which might be 100 miles from you or 1000 miles.
I order casual clothes from various online sites. They may ship from the same warehouse (or not) and every item might not be ready to ship, so they do sometimes arrive separately. There is routinely anywhere from 3-5 days between order time and ship time, just like QVC, and after shipping it can take 7-8 more days to get to me.
And yes, I have to pay for shipping if I don't have a coupon or meet a minimum amount. I have to figure 2 weeks minimum from order to arrival with one company, 10 days with the other. And the shipping from both places isn't $5. Most clothing sites I have dealt with are similar in delivery time and cost.
QVC's shipping times & fees aren't great but for me they are as fast and often faster than other places.
