Re: Product Reviews ... Really?

I used to take all reviews at face value, but now I'm suspicious due to so many fake reviews.  For instance, Dr. Denese new product A287750 has 5 star reviews from first time reviewers and/or reviewers that have only reviewed her products-5 stars of course. Really sad that these vendors have to resort to such deceit.

That is what really bugs me.  The "seeded" reviews.

Also, I have reported nonsense reviews like the "I can't wait to get it" type and nothing is ever done.   I have yet to see one of those removed.

And as for Amazon, they have their own "VINE" program for reviews where they provide products free of charge for review.   I have been an Amazon VINE reviewer for at least 10 years.   I get to choose an item and they send it to me; I use it and post my review, good or bad.   You may see items reviewed by a "Vine Voice" occasionally.
