I saw that too debc and I'm glad it's brought up
here because the posters on the other thread made
it sound like it was a FACT the mods were changing people's posts.

Hard to believe posters would make the accusation.

Just think about it.  If they were really editing the posts, all of the posts that say something like "I hate when XYZ talks over the host" would be changed to "I love when XYZ talks over the host."  Negative would always be changed to positive.  The fact that any complaints can and do stand proves things are not as controlled as the paranoid claim.

Once in a while when I push post I will get a message that there is an error in my posting and that the software may have changed something in my message.  It gives me a chance to look the message over, make changes, and then post.  Perhapsothers have had that happe and  that is what hsa started the "rumor".  This typically happes when I copy and paste from something else using control c control v.

Apologies if the thread seemed to be disrespectful of the moderators, which certainly wasn't my intent but it's all open to personal interpretation.  I'm sure they'll remove it if they feel it's inappropriate, but I do feel it's important to address rumors openly so we'll all be more aware of what's being done.

I think my thread title probably could have been worded less clumsily, so I changed it from "~Allegations that post content was edited by Q Social Team~" to the current title.

dooB - do NOT worry about your post insulting the moderation - it isn't and they would know that.

Beware of poster playing games. All is not what it might seem with some colorful posters.
