It seems suddenly, when an item has pockets, everyone seems to put their hands in the pockets with their thumbs sticking out. This causes me to think the pockets are not that deep. I wanted to buy two items recently but did not because I could not tell if the pockets were deep enough for a phone since just the length of the fingers seem to fit. Please have them put full hands in pockets when modeling an item.

First ... welcome!    Woman Happy

Second, if you check the item on the QVC site, sometimes you can see the pockets more closely.

Pockets are important.  I won't buy any slacks without pockets anymore.

Welcome!  The hands in pockets pose is intentional to show the viewer that there are indeed pockets.  I noticed the same when shopping QVC online.  I can see right away if pants I am interested in have pockets or not just by looking at the still pictures, don't even need to watch the video.

We get nasty finding out no pockets after buying  & S/H cost to discover No Pockets!

Happened to me...donated them immediately.

Yes, that is a big pet peeve of mine too.  Guys stand like a lot with their hands in their pockets and thumbs sticking out.  It looks terrible.  When the models do it, you can't see how the clothing really looks.  I wish they'd advise the models to remove their hands from the pockets or at least do it in very small doses.

I've been noticing that sometimes when pants are 'too tight', they keep their hands in their pockets so we won't see the horizontal stretching of the fabric in the tummy area.

Underline 'sometimes'.  Not always.

'More or less', 'Right or wrong', 'In general', and 'Just thinking out loud ' (as usual).
