Re: Please Stop Yelling, Hollering and Trying to talk over Each Other

I don't watch QVC as much as I used to because I just can't handle some of the hosts.  So I just turn the channel and save money.  I miss the old QVC.  Some of them seem so fake.

We are not "back in the day."  Even commercials are loud and silly dancing and singing.

I would never let the antics 'stress' me!

I just turn it off.

I am also in the group of watching the Q channel less often.

*The constant yelling by hosts; will never understand why hosts think that talking really loudly will sell an item.

*The constant interrupting by hosts; so rude and annoying.

*The constant giggling by hosts; grow up hosts.

*And to add - the long, never ending TSV presentations.

Yes, the piercing voices are very annoying.  When the hosts try to shout over each other, it makes them sound so brash and unsophisticated.  The over-the-top enthusiasm is forced and is not a selling point for me.  They must underestimate the intelligence of the viewer-say it louder and it is truer??  It reminds me of when my daughters used to host sleep overs.

If I were a brand ambassador I would feel like my time and effort were wasted if I could not present my product.  I've seen shows when the two hosts just took over and tried to outwit and out shout each other at the expense of the guest.  It's rude and tasteless.

Great it doesn't stress you. I'd prefer the hosts to settle down though and tell some vendors, especially Mally, that they're indoors and yelling is not necessary. I don't want to change the channel or turn it off. It shouldn't be a huge task to get people to make it pleasant for viewing.

Often when Courtney and Jane are with a vendor (who they essentially ignore) Jane, in particular, will devolve into laughter that one might hear at a teenaged girl's slumber party.  No idea by anyone just what she's giggling about.  But it's one humdinger of a laugh with a little snorting flourish at the end.
