Please observe that I have edited my original font so as not to appear rude in your estimation.
And, I might add that the post was in the "Suggestion Box" which was intended for any QVC moderator who might actually read the suggestions. It was not intented to project to you in any way.

Thank you. Much better.
Since this is the "Suggesion Box" might I make a suggestion? Since your eyesight does give you a problem, under "Settings" and "Window Display" you can change the size of your font for your screen. This might make viewing easier for you while allowing you to type in a normal font size.
Another suggesion is if you only need help for something temporary, you can hold down the "Control" key and hit the "+" (plus) sign. This will enlarge the entire screen. To return to the normal display, hold down the "Control" key and hit the "-" (minus) sign.

@Georgiagrama I think QVC is aware that the bulk of its viewers are older gals. My take is that they figure as we age (many of us have been with them for 20+ years), we will be purchasing less and less. So, maybe they are trying to attract a younger audience with these younger hosts.
Personally, I don't see younger women/girls shopping this way very much anymore. They have so many more shopping avenues available to them than we did when we started. I just don't see 20-somethings sitting in front of a TV (or even on their phone) watching this stuff. They are just too busy with social media IMO.

@sarahpandaLOL! I thank them too (not to mention DH). Unwatchable hosts mean I shop elsewhere.

I agree with you. I sometimes long for the QVC of old. I rarely watch any more, and I am amazed when I do, at the slap stick presentations.
I don't imagine many young people are watching. Like you, I believe that social media has taken over the younger generation.
Thank you for your thoughtful response.

If I ever based my buying on hosts, I would never buy any thing. They all have flaws we can point out and have been pointed out many times on these forums. They are sales people who love every single item they have to sell which is not believable and they interject the same old comments and selling points constantly. They interrupt and are rude at times and all in all they never influence my purchases. I make my own decisions.
With that being said, I do not put these hosts in a special category, do not regard them as celebraties in any way, can see the psychology behind what they are trained to do. Yes, some do annoy with their loud unprofessional approach and silly words. They do it all in the names of sales and profit, That is their job just like sales people do in stores although in my opinion i find store sales people more sincere. I really have little if any interest in the Q hosts and I watch for items I like and may be interested in buying. I feel the format of the Q needs change not new hosts but as long as there is a profit being made, it will be the same old Q. Just my opinion.
Enjoy your day.

Everyone has an opinion and they are all worthwhile. I rarely watch QVC anymore. I appreciate an informative, calm, intelligent, sales approach. I do realize that QVC is a business and my suggestion will in no way change or affect the way they do things, My suggestion was made and directed only to QVC after watching a very late night Quacker Factory show that was particularly unpleasant to me. I should have just turned the TV off (as that seems to be the general conscencious) but I did watch because I like Quacker Factory. It was 4AM and I was anxiously awaiting the arrival of Irma. I needed a diversion. My own mistake. It seems that the even bigger mistake was making a suggestion. ![]()

I have stated before...buying on TV channel happens ONLY because of the product presentation. If people don't watch - for whatever reason - chances are, they aren't buying!
I used to be one who had the Q on all the time. Now, I check the Q channel when I change other channels. I rarely stay on the Q presentation. If the host or vendor isn't enjoyable, I don't watch.
I do agree... this batch of new hosts is still lacking in presentation skills. They definitely need more training and practice....but not on live TV. I am sure that they are decent, kind, wonderful people. But they are turning away viewers,,, who are potential buyers!!!!

It seems like other new hosts co-hosted with a seasoned host for a very long time before they went out on their own. These new hosts seemed to have just been thrown out there. The need more mentoring. I have personally quit watching Q early in the morning because I find none of these new hosts very interesting or enjoyable to watch or listen to. Sometimes they do seem like they don't even care.
