There is a host that uses the word “snag” to describe buying a product. “Oh great I am glad you were able to snag that ring before it sold out.” It was offensive to my ears and seemed unprofessional. What do you think???

Why would that bother any one?

Compared to the other repetitive and obnoxious comments they make, I would call that one very, very minor. I don't think some of those "hosts" aew the least bit concerned about appearing professional unfortunately. Shawn comes immediately to mind .And don't gey me started on the vendors (Susan Graber and Women With Control for example).

Why is the word "snag" offensive to you?

Really??  So this is not a trick question for a Friday afternoon.

No, I do not consider "snag" offensive in any way.

It's really "old-fashioned" slang............going back to the 50's or so
