I love Carolyn as well. However, some of these people complaining about her being let go can't be very good fans since they don't know how to spell her name correctly. JS.

@Reever Agreed. The offerings are decidedly unappealing in so many ways. Back to back tops and jeans by different vendors etc. Most of the"designers" show

limited creativity. Dennis Basso is one of few remaining who exhibits individuality and creativity. That accounts for lack of sales and inability to compete with smaller companies that are more nimble. These companies attract the coveted 15-40 demographic. QVC's demographic group is older.

I can't believe they got rid of Carolyn. She was my favorite and because of her I bought a lot of denim and co. I probably will not buy as much any more. I think this was a big mistake. QVC has gotten worse, customer service is horrible , the shows are not good anymore. Time to rethink buying from QVC.

They can hire newer, younger hosts for less money. It's the bottom line, nothing more. Big corporations do not care about or value employees.

I was shocked yesterday to hear the news of Carolyn and Dan not returning ...and I'm still in shock! How were they told they're no longer wanted or needed at QVC? Were they in a room changing to go home...and handed a pink slip? "Oh! One more thing before you go home Carolyn. We don't need you here anymore. We have a deal that you can accept or not accept... It's your choice. Read this over and let me know in ten minutes because you need to sign this form and check the box if you're accepting or not accepting our offer." No thank you for all the years you worked for us? No sorry we have to do this? NO NOTHING ?!?!?! Talk about Carolyn and Dan being blindsided !!!! And l really don't need to hear from a couple posters on here "explaining" to me that "this happens all the time in big companies." because I've read it several times on here already! Blah blah blah.... I am entitled to say how I feel just like everyone else on here so keep your opinions to yourself !!!!

We let these people into our homes via the tv on a daily basis. Carolyn and Dan are two people you can actually believe when they tell you something. QVC messed up with this one.

I notice that they run a promo of "funny" screw ups that happen on the shows. Things falling, breaking, hosts making weird faces. It's clear that they want the Clown Show over class.

They also want young XXS twig hosts over the more realistic body types that most of their viewer base can actually identify with.

And good lord, WHY is that LOGO line still being presented? That line should be sunsetted. Just this week, they dressed Carolyn and her side kick (one of the younger hosts that I don't care enough about to learn her name) in some LOGO denim with patches all over it. They were awful. It looked like the girls were dressing as scarecrows for Halloween. I can only imagine that Carolyn would have rather been in her usual D&Co ensemble instead of those pants. Whatever stylist was responsible for THAT should be the one to go.
