New item listing format?

A couple of times recently I have been browsing the product categories and the site has loaded the item listings in a new format (see screen cap below).

One thing I noticed is that the item number is no longer shown in the description for each item. I did see that the item number is in the text description that pops up if you hover your mouse over the pic for a few seconds. But I personally miss seeing the item number in the description.

I'm sure other shoppers have seen this new format and may have other comments as well.

They just upgraded our computer systems at work, so I wssn't sure if my settings had changed, or if it was QVC's doing. LOL

Also, the multi-comparison feature is gone.

I agree with you @aprimo that I like to see the item # listed. Sometimes I want to copy and paste that number when I'm reviewing an item and don't necessarily want to click on the item. Also, I sometimes email friends item numbers that they've requested. This new set-up just adds more "clicks." Maybe that's it's purpose?

Also, there seems to be more white space with this new format which has been my problem with this website for a quite some time. It really bothers my eyes.

Hello @aprimo @Caaareful Shopper – We’re happy you noticed our new streamlined design to better highlight products you are interested in. As of now, a percent of people can see the new look but, very soon, everyone will.

You are correct, you can hover over the item and see the item number and if you click on the item, you will also see the item number.

I fail to see how this new format "streamlines or better highlights products".

You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

@Eva-QVC, so glad you are "happy" that we've noticed the new design but I would ask that you poll online shoppers to see how happy they are.

My vote would be to UN-"streamline" the design and return to the former style.

What is good for the goose today will also be good for the gander tomorrow.

I agree! Fix what isn't working properly on this site before messing with what ain't broke!

Totally agree, since they have done that the video's won't play and just go to a white screen. I don't understand why they fix what isn't broken and won't fix what is.
