Last night I watched Amy for a short time. In that period she put on 2 tops. She said that she was 5'2" and the tops were fine on her. Who is she kidding? The tops were fine if she wore them as dresses. QVC assumes that all women wear leggings and need long tops. I would purchase more if the tops were a little shorter. A 30" top is just too long for me.

oh yeah - I remember that - you are correct. Jeanne would say I am short, not petite, or something like that.

While lately I have noticed some Med & Large models, QVC uses WAY too many 5'8"+, Size 2 (XXS) models.
Clearly, not a realistic representation of women today.
A marketing stragedy for sales. If it looks that great on Brenda or Kate...I will look just LIKE that if I buy it!
No one is their real size except in the Q world of vanity sizing.
Pat said she was a size 6 yesterday...uh huh. ( I know she's not petite but still)
yeah, I spit my Sprite out when she said that. 14 more like it

I rarely listen to Pat, but flipping through channels a day or so ago I heardher say she was wearing an 8, "which is my normal size".

We are lucky to have the petite models we have, I am apalled at how some of the hosts and vendors ignore the petite models and make left handed remarks about their stature. I get it that the tall size 2 models represent the fashions the best, but then don't try to pawn them off on we petite gals. There are as many or no doubt more petite size fashions sold at the Q when they are offered You have to ask yourself why they don't have fashion shows for just the petites with only petite models showing the clothes.

True, these shopping channels use tall models that may be XL, and then you have some of these hosts say I am wearing a XS or make reference to how small they are. I am plus size and my size and height are not represented, maybe they think if you show a short chunky model their sales would go down. Represent the other end of the spectrum of sizes and height. Petite height comes in all sizes

ITA!!! The average American woman these days is a size 14.
I am regular on top (C-cup), but petite for skirts/pants.

I want to see 2 plus sized models.
1. 5'2" and a 2x.
2. 5'6" and a 2x.

QVC is not going to use larger petite models. Unfortunately, the clothes are just not going to look as great. (The styling HAS to adjust: that is a fact.)

The long tops and tunics look bad on the Petite models. And the Q has the top height for them, except for one. No matter how they style them, they can't make proportions look good on them.
