Need larger sized petite models.

Need larger sized petite models.   Not all petite woman are size 2.  That is why you offer larger petite sizes.  Where are the large and extra large models?

Re: Need larger sized petite models.

Valid point!

While lately I have noticed some Med & Large models, QVC uses WAY too many 5'8"+, Size 2 (XXS) models.

Clearly, not a realistic representation of women today.

A marketing stragedy for sales.  If it looks that great on Brenda or Kate...I will look just LIKE that if I buy it!

No one is their real size except  in the Q world of  vanity sizing.

Pat said she was a size 6 yesterday...uh huh. ( I know she's not petite but still)

I respectfully disagree.  The Q has more ordinary looking women than "models" these days.  I have even asked myself "where have all the models gone?"

It's unreasonable and less watchable to have every conceivable body size and shape on the fashion shows.  (It probably saves money though.)

I, too, would like to see a petite model who is petite in height but not  in body size.

Just my opinion but across the board on most shows there are too many Xxs, small models - sometimes that is all they have.  Maybe too some larger hosts who actually tell you what size they are wearing would help.  Everyone is not small or Xsmall - some variety please!

Re: Need larger sized petite models.

I totally agree with this concept but it will probably never happen.

I am 5' tall and wear an XL or IX.  When I am looking at the length of tops on models, the designers always state that the length is perfect.  It may be perfect on petite XXS, but those items are made much longer on a 1X petite height customer.

This makes it difficult to make choices.  In fact, never understood why tops must be at least 2-3" longer in plus sizes.  We are not automatically taller than size XXS.

Isn't that Quacker Factory's niche?  What was Jeanne's favorite saying?  She was short but not petite - or something like that?

I agree. Susan Graver only has XXS tall models. Looking at them most women will not get an accuate idea of how they are going to look.

I totally agree.  I am 5'2" and everything is way too long for me.  I wear a medium to large in Denim & Co depending on the item and I can't judge by their petite model because she is too thin.  Also the tops are alway toooooooooo long for them.  But the host always says it looks great.  I guess we, who are height challenged will just have to live with it.   That is why I don't buy.
