I love QVC, however it is very frustrating when your trying to listen for details about an item your interested in and all the hosts can talk about is their personal life or how many they sold. Please give more product/fashion details like sizing, inseam, the fit, etc., then if I need to I can watch the video and get the information. If  theres extra time feel free to talk about whatever you want.  Thank you.

That has been my number one pet peeve with QVC for years!  Especially with the handbag presentations.  I want to know what the inside looks like and all they could talk about was how to wear it, what great colors were available, the quality of the material and then after several minutes, Oh let's a take a look inside.

And don't get me started with fit details for clothing.

Or how about when they tell how how to wear something, in case you just emerged from the cave.

I agree with the posters.  There are a few hosts who do their job in a professional manner and provide thorough descriptions of the items or let the vendor do so. I agree about the purses, too much emphasis on colors and not enough on the inside of the purse.  I want to know how much room there is.  As I have stated before, I only watch a handful of shows now and only the shows with hosts who aren't rude but who know how to sell a product with necessary information.

@QueenofE.  With clothing, you can find all the garment measurements at the end of the text describing it where it says to click here for them.  I don't make a purchase without checking them.

ITA .... a purse is a FUNCTIONAL item in addition to being a fashion accessory.

Sometimes they don't show the inside and .... even worse .... the photos on the website don't show the inside!

Before you buy a garment from QVC or anywhere, it is best to check out the measurements and the reviews.

This prevents returns and disappointment.  Why listen to the hosts? I doubt they wear most of the clothing they sell.

Shawn gets off track talking about traveling to different countries, cruises etc.  I'm not interested in where she traveled or where any of the guests or models traveled, stay on track with the item she's selling please.

@QueenofE

I know a post such as yours has been posted many, many times. So, I will repeat my process. Before I order anything I check reviews. When it comes to clothing, I also always check the garment measurements. For a host to go into detail regarding each and every measurement, it would be so boring people would tune out. Be sure to be honest about your own sizes as well.

Checking garment measurements is as easy, if not easier, than going to the forum then posting a comment. By checking this info it also reduces chances of having to return an item.

I only watch the video to get an idea of what an item looks like on a person but for all relevant information I refer to the item description.

@QueenofE  I agree, I'd appreciate more details about the product. Especially, as mentioned, when presenting purses or carry totes. I like to see the inside and the lining. I think the Q responded to the many requests to show the inside of the bag by including little sample photos of the linings in the product photos. A good example of management responding to forum comments. The lining samples are helpful, however I'd still appreciate a really thorough, detailed presentation of any product I'm interested in.  I wouldn't be bored, I'd be impressed that management finally "gets it"!
