What I think is funny is they will say something like, "There are only 3 dozen left." If that is the case, why not say 36?

Harry Slatkin could barely get the scent description in the conversation because both the hosts were giving quantity updates. Now, that's one issue but lately products have been mentioned that they are sold out only be listed later on in the inventory. The issue with that is that the "special pricing" no longer applies. Perhaps just stating once or twice that the product is selling quickly would sufice. I really don't need to know the specific count. I do need to know the specifics of the product presented.
funny that Harry couldn't get a word in once he starts he doesn't stop

This is a valid complaint which often appears on the forums. I also agree. However, as other posters have said, the hosts are sales people and will say anything to sell an item as their job dictates. There are some hosts who repeat and repeat the same selling points but they all do it during their presentations. I do not pay any attention to the selling points . I only purchase what I like and can afford, it is always my choice not the selling points of a host.

I know the producer is in their ear telling them updates. I always wondered, especially with David as he does it way more than others, if the updates were told to the host so they could know how they are doing. I find it annoying and a waste of time to listen to every color and how many are left.

They should carry these new earrings. They are for men, but I imagine they have them for women too.

Are they afraid of some legal ramifications? Just put up a tiny chyron saying color is sold-out (but really isn't.)
It's quite a bizarre spectacle, but ultimately entertaining!
They are, after all, in reality, entertainers!
I have seen David practically gallop across the set to remove a sold out/ but not really sold out item.
Otherwise he takes his normal short baby steps which is bazarre in itself given his stature.

If a color sells out in David's show he wants it removed ASAP!

I've seen him actually stand in front of an item, (allegedly sold out), arms spread, to block viewers from seeing it.
Bizarre, Bizarre, how Bizarre!

It is definitely not a selling point to me. When I'm trying to listen to a vendor tell about a product and the host constantly interrupts to tell me how many are remaining, I instantly turn off the program. If I miss a purchase, I know the world will not end, I need to know about what I'm trying to buy. It always reminds me of the old time used car salesmen who said, we have a motivated buyer interested so you need to get this right now, no you don't need to test drive it, they're coming in any minute now and you'll miss the sale. Realtors do the same thing. Don't rush me into buying something I don't know anything about other than it's flying out the door!
