Keeping your chosen font when replying

Why do I have to select my font type and color every time I post? Why not keep the setting until I choose to change it?  Or is there a way to do this and I just don't get it?

As of now I don't believe there is a way to do this.  However, many have asked for it.

My guess? Because it discourages people from using them. The default font and color are generally the easiest to read on a computer and you can set your preferences to edit the size for reading. When others choose their fonts and colors in their posts, they often choose fonts and colors that are not as easy to read and make for a less pleasant experience for other users. Their individual posting fonts also override a user's preferences, forcing them to read your post in whatever color and font you choose.

I ran into thjs earluer today when someone used this font to write a post.

I can't even begin with that one. Giving people new fonts and colors is always a tough choice. I mean, Hooray for freedom of expression, right? But the fact is that not everyone knows about fonts, colors, or design. They can choose things that make it hard to read their message, and when you are on a web forum, the basic able to read someone's message is the ONE thing that needs to be right. But too many options reminds me of being in grade school when people (and I think most of us have been guilty of this - I know I was) decided to write like this:

HELLO! COLOR IS FUN! Wheee!!!

Because color and font ARE totally fun! But when they get in the way of people being able to read your message, you lose.

ChynnaBlue, that's a very good point.  But the font that QVC has chosen as a default is not that great either.  It's too small, and for me, the word spacing and line spacing is a little too close.
