Jill 5/6/18 presenting Philosophy

Don't get me wrong here, I like Jill as host, but she was on presenting Philosophy shower gel and said that in the 20 years she has been on QVC with Philopsophy, she only used Philosophy. She said no other product has touch her body. I like the soap rock soaps and she also says the same things when she sells those. So Jill, which is it? I know you are trying to sell items on TV, but being truthful goes along way. I felt like I was lied to in regards to this show. I buy alot from QVC base on the host's recommendations, but if I am lied to, then I will quickly turn the channel.

@I get that @FloridaNative and agree...I often can't keep track of all the host claims.. "I only have used this on my face", "this has been my ONLY eye liner in 20 years", "Bobbi Brown is my go-to make-up." And, I will say Jill is usually pretty consistent with the items she says she'd used for years (such as those "Philosophy Micro-dermabrasion"(sp?) pads.)

That said...(and believe me, I know they are sales people saying what they need to many times) but maybe she does what I do....I too use both soap rocks and Phil. shower gels. Mostly, I use the shower gels in the shower, and the soap rocks are by my bathroom sink, just for hand soap. Sometimes I use Soap Rocks in the shower too, because they really are the best soap, non-drying, made from good botanicals.

So, who knows...but I do get your point!

I don't think JB means to mislead us and I have a feeling she does use both products for different purposes. That being said, the hosts should know by now that people who actually watch these shows religiously, pick up on everything and unless the hosts want to be taken to task ,they better watch what they say and get their stories straight. I believe JB could care less about what the customers think of her or what she says to sell the products, as long as she indeed sells and makes that high 6 figure salary. For those who say, not to watch the show, if we all did that there would be no need for hosts and shows.

I believe Jill. The soap rocks go by a sink. She's talking about Philosophy from a beauty standpoint.

TYPICAL sales ploy. I change the channel when she is on.

I have heard Jill talk about many beauty products with the same slant as OP described. Jill claims to have used so many products , sometimes I wonder how she ever gets out of the bathroom in the morning!

Lies, schmies, truth, ruth. They are ALL salespeople for heaven's sake. Not your best friend whom you trust! I marvel at the naivete of some people on these forums.

Maybe she is referring to the shower gels. She always seemed to be in love with them. (Which I have never understood, because I don't think they're all that great.)

Credibility goes out the window if this is the case!
