Is The Social Team Ignoring Our Concerns?

If they have checked in, I missed it.

They're hoping we'll figure out this mess ourselves so they won't have to try to explain it!!!!!!!!!!

I guess everyone should tag their posts so they show up to the left as recently tagged posts kind of like the old forum where all categories showed up when you opened the forums - but then again I don't know what to put in the space that comes up when tag is clicked on!!!

Unless they want to drive themselves insane, they should ignore most of the complaints I'm seeing for now. It would be WAY too reactive to jump on suggestions and make changes the first day of release unless something is flat out not working. The forums work, you just don't like them - not the same thing. As the week goes on, we may hear from them, but they should not address anything now unless it's an emergency.

LOL Tags are way down my list of concerns. And I no tone is hard to discern from writing, but I really am laughing, and scratching my head simultaneously. What a disappointment this upgrade turned out to be.

Maybe you should post under "Welcome Get Started."  Maybe that's the quickest way to get answers to questions.

They know that 90% of the people who are experiencing problems will "get it" within the next few days.  And they know that the other 10% will never "get it" because they don't want to.  They just want the old board back.  And that's just not going to happen.

I think I am pretty adaptable. That's not the issue for me. I adapted to Twitter, and FB, and other online forums. They were pretty straight forward. I guess I'm disappointed because I expected an improved forum, and I don't see this as such.

Forgot part of my post. They themselves started a thread entitled "Questions About The Community?" So far they haven't answered a single question in that thread. (Unless I missed it)

Re: Is The Social Team Ignoring Our Concerns?

This entire web page is a mess!  Can't connect easily with hosts on Facebook, where I use to get a heads up on upcoming items. I have to think really hard at work, don't want to try and figure out this mess at the end of the day. Sorry QVC, I won't be around for quite awhile, I don't know who you hired to do you IT......what a mess!!!!!

I agree with those who say the moderators will wait for the dust to settle.

Some of the problems can be fixed by making changes in our "Settings," others are just a natural part of adapting to a very different format.

Once they see what the common questions/concerns are, I hope they will address them.
