I hear way worse things during most tv programming these days.We have definitely forgotten our manners for the time being. This too shall pass.

Another good reason I almost never turn on QVC....safer to shop online and then I don't have to put up with stuff like this!

I WAS NOT WATCHING WHEN THIS HAPPENED, BUT I AM SURE THAT THE OFFENDER WAS ******* SUE. SHE THINKS SHE IS A CLASS ACT, HOWEVER HER BEHAVIOR SHOW HER POOR MANNERS.

*******Then, the person who handles these inappropriate incidents apparently has a revolving door and we probably can guess who is in line the most! (Yes?)!!!

No, if this happened in my workplace, you would get fired on the spot. You just can't talk like this in the workplace, not in today's world. This kind of behavior is part of what makes this person unlikeable to many. I don't think anyone can call this behavior professional.
It's TV ... not an office environment or workplace environment.
Huh? It most certainly is a workplace environment. What do you think they are doing? It's not a typical office environment but that doesn't matter in the least.

Linda Davies, left Liz. Claiborne. Mary Beth is fine as long as she doesn't say "here's the deal" about 10 times during a presentation.
@SharkE I don't think I'd be naked and afraid, but if Carolyn left QVC I'd probably not watch QVC much at all. And I do like Mary Beth and Leah too.....I would also like to compliment Gabrielle on the Irish show this morning---she was pleasant, informative, and let the vendor speak---REAL REFRESHING!!! Hadn't seen her in a long time---I enjoyed it when she was on PM Style but that was wy back in the day when I WATCHED and enjoyed PM STYLE.
I don't view on Mondays any more as the host is downright annoying---she may think "she's being cute" making up her own words and "being real" but I find her downright UNWATCHABLE! So not surprised that she even said this to Dennis. And in the real business world she would've been fired for what she said, and Albany has no filter either!---can't watch either one of them....If I have QVC on in the background and hear either one of them I grab my remote!

@JeanLouiseFinch wrote:I just saw Renee whatever her name is from Women With Control, "handling" the models, showing how her jeans pulled them in and up. She even said to Jackie, "I hope I'm not tickling you". The other model was doing an "in and up" slightly thrusting gesture, followed by the vendor having the models hold their shirts up while encouraging them to wiggle while the camera was right on their backsides. I really don't that kind of thing is necessary. I don't like how she ends her segments with the dancing either.
@JeanLouiseFinch She's another one I can't abide and will change the channel......I hate it when she comes on AM STYLE (one of the FEW Q shows I watch) there have been many many threads about Renee and her wigglin and jigglin and how it was degrading to the models and so many comments about her strippper music and Renee should get a pole and go "in business"......and I guess in a round about way someone at QVC agreed a bit, because I noticed she made a change and did away with the "stripper music".....and chose different music....enough said!!!! guess Renee confirmed and made our point for us! ![]()

@Karnerblue TV has the SAME rules....there have been MANY TV commentators that have been fired or suspended for these type of comments!!!

@SunValley wrote:I worked in an industry dominated by men and had to put up with girlie calendars, sexist jokes, harassment, and other similar nonsense as our generation fought to make this illegal in the workplace so everyone had respect. No one should demand that another person display or wiggle their behind during a sales presentation or have comments made on their behind's perceived "hotness." In a place of business it does not matter if the people involved are OK with this exchange, it is unacceptable; it has nothing to do with others being prudish or the participants just "having fun" and everything to do with respect.
Several Q hosts and vendors need some retraining. On one of his initial shows the Halston rep was so gaga over Amy it was uncomfortable to watch. And I admired Liam for speaking up when Albany called him her Australian Hunk and said "no, please do not call me that. I am here to tell the viewers about a great shoe."
@SunValley Great comments!!! And now I have GREAT respect for Liam too!
