Re: If you would stop importing items from China,

Another rant about China and QVC.  Why don't you complain to all the companies and manufacturers who moved their lines to China due to cost savings?

Fifty years ago it was "made in" Japan, then Hong Kong, now China, next Bangladesh.

Why don't you complain to all the middle class Americans in service jobs that they should quit those jobs and go back to working in factories all day producing goods at bargain wages?

The world is flat and business is global.

Re: If you would stop importing items from China,

It still seems expensive for a product made in China. You could check out Etsy for US items. Lots of fabulous seamstresses and the money goes to smaller, home based businesses. I'm okay with having one of something.
I lived in Europe and the wardrobes (both storage and actual pieces) are much smaller and people have more capsule pieces and a few special items so I'm used to that though.

@Judaline   A huge number of "imported" goods do not come from China.  That's a false assumption.  There are probably over a dozen countries from which the Q imports garments, for instance.

If it's good quality and reasonably priced, I don't care where it was made.

Then, go for it. I won't. I don't. And if it's imported why won't QVC say imported from where?? Numerous people have asked. No replies.

@Judaline  You are right. Put your money where your mouth is as they say. No more QVC purchases unless country of origin is stated.

And just where was your electronic device made?

Lots of computer components come from China.

Back then I had no beef with China. If I had to buy all new electronic devices today I would research other avenues.
