I often read/search the recipes on the forum.  As a really "inexperienced" (a polite way to phrase itWoman Wink), I get a lot of ideas and learn a lot from everyone here.

Well, I'd like to see QVC show videos, if not broadast live, all the tremendous cooks who contribute their knowledge and expertise here online as a weekly/monthly segment on David's show!

Enough with the prepared foods shown when selling cookbooks, et al.  Enough with David's quickie segment, throwing things together and having other hosts say how delish.  I want to see some peers cook a yummy recipe, step-by-step, turning out something delicious- foods that we all can relate/refer too.

Doubt that QVC would do this - though imho it would be enjoyable; but, would any of you like this?

@eddyandme The idea doesn't appeal to me personally.

If I understand correctly - tho I don't watch - there are numerous cooking shows on channel TV.

QVC sells pots & pans - and spoons & cutting gadgets.  Cooking isn't their primary purpose.

@fthunt, yes, they're their to sell.  But, years ago, Bob Bowersox and that rep for Cook's Essentials, would cook a real recipe using the pots and pans, whatever, that were being sold on the show.  So I just thought it would be interesting to have some of this forum's cooks cook their recipes using whatever item(s) are being sold that day.

Well they still do it - Eric shows cooking stuff in Air Fryer - don't know all the vendor names - but older guy makes things on air............and the KitchenAid lady.  I don't see where it has changed - honestly.

@eddyandme

It is not a cooking show.  It's a show to sell product.

QVC is a SHOPPING channel.  If you want to see cooking tune into a COOKING show.
