I received an email today with the pre-order for Marc Fisher boots. Also on the email were boots on easy pay with a shop now option. There are a cute pair of lace-up suede booties in a plum color. There is a "S" on the side, so I am assuming that they are Skechers. I clicked the option, they weren't there, did a search for Skeckers, not there either.

I really hate when they advertise things that aren't available! If anyone can find them, please post the item #. Thanks

Just plain UNKIND. The moderators are always telling us how a post is unkind.  So is the sales technique the OP describes.  Cut it out you guys.

QVC does this on a regular basis.  They show photos of items on their home page in different categories but make it impossible to find the items shown.  I complained to the mods once about this and they said they would pass my complaint along but, of course, nothing has been done and QVC is still doing it.

The items always show up sooner or later, it could be a sketchers TSV for sometime in the future

Why oh why do they do this??? @Azcowgirl This drives me crazy because white soles in fall/winter shoes, boots etc make this a no-go for me. I'm guessing you too.

Why don't they make the soles tonal or make them dark grey, black, some dark color that doesn't detract from the shoe itself.

@A1brat I'd google 'skechers' and see what pops up. I'm betting you'll find those boots somewhere.

I put this promotion tactic right up there in frustration as the cutsie “catch phrase” the hosts give us at the end of a show to use in the search engine, like cozy at homie or splendor holiday, and then a whole array of great items are at your fingertips, but only if you know the special search phrase. This search phrase should be on the homepage as a link, it shouldn’t be a secret known only to those who happen to hear it once.

I checked the November Insider & they weren't there either. Seems like a "bait & switch" hoping you'll buy their last not so successful Skechers TSV boot instead. I like the grey soles, but agree the white looked off on that last TSV.
