There are a number of hosts and vendors (too numerous to list) that need to pull their hair back when they are cooking or demonstrating an item.  All that hair hanging and flipping around makes me gag and detracts from the product.

Since I'm not going to eat what they're working with, doesn't bother me.  However, I'm surprised that they aren't annoyed by the hair hanging down, no matter what they're presenting.

Totally agree - it's a health issue besides being disgusting.  I've turned off more than one food show presented by a female. (vendor or QVC host)

Cooking? It's never attractive to have hair flopping around in one's face! There are several hosts that I'd love to take a pair of scissors and chop those fly away manes away. Just want to view their faces when speaking to the camera.

Does not bother me since I'm not eating the food.

What I hate is the restaurants where they have people working with their hair not pulled back.

When I worked in that field when I was a teenager I had to wear my hair back. Some places back then you had to put a net over your hair.

Let's not mention the facial hair that's dropping off on your food???

It's disgusting. Must be one of the reasons we cook at home most of the time.

My husband & I stayed at a Bed & Breakfast several years ago.

The caretaker/cook had a long scraggly beard. When we were served pancakes in the morning, I thought I was going to get sick. I didn't want to eat anything there. Yuck!

I agree and I would imagine the staff gets to eat the food so it is not wasted.  Yuck!!   I always have had a rule in my kitchen.....hair is always up!!   Now I have a pixie so it doesn't matter , however I also see a lot of cross contamination going on with raw food and utensils and hosts taking bites and such.   They should pay more attention to that.

The long hair that’s in the way bothers me during a jewelry show. I’d like to see the size of the earrings. Even if the item has measurements online, I’d like to see how they fit the ear, placement of post, ear coverage, etc.

Hair falls out no matter how short it's kept.

It's a TV presentation for goodness sake.  They are not in a restaurant cooking meals for consumption.
