On the rare occasion that I do watch I think the kissing is stupid; especially the air kiss, that's major stupid, what's the point? Also, why they would all want to be putting their faces next to each other during flu season is a mystery.

The kissing is because...They (the hosts) do not realize that they are salespeople...................NOT moviestars! I wish management would let them know!!

This kissing, etc. seems to be unpopular with us customers. Why don't they stop? It is so unprofessional and silly. Kiss in the greenroom if they want, but don't waste time on air. It is so fake anyway. Very awkward too and some new vendors don't know if they should prepare to shake hands, say hello or kiss.

I have to agree! I don't think that it is normal and frankly, it is kind of sickening.

My thought exactly. The other thing I don't like is when the host keeps refering to the vendor as ""she"" or ""he"" when they are standing right there. It sounds forced and even a little disrepectful to me.
