I'm sure QVC is aware of the issue but nothing has changed. In fact they are pairing more hosts together so there could be more talking over each other in some cases.

Re: Hosts Please Let Vendors Talk

I totally agree. Ive been noticing that more and more! Especially the newer hosts. I was watching a Homeworks presentation recently with Harry Slatkin, and the poor man couldn’t get a word in edgewise with the girl who was the host whose name I won’t mention it’s very irritating, and I also turn the channel when I start to see that. It’s a turn off. Thanks.

Re: Hosts Please Let Vendors Talk

Another week of dueling talkers with Susan Graver and RB.   It was nonstop competition for attention instead of alternating and complementing information on each clothing item.

Stereophonic lunacy and confusion.   Susan would be trying to demonstrate features of each item while RB would be thrusting random combinations of tops and bottoms, obliterating the view of the item.  What a train wreck.

@NYwoman   When I walked in the room and heard Susan Graver music I said to myself ...I would like to see Susan with RB hosting...that pairing would be each trying to cancel out the other.   And there it was, Susan with RB hosting.  I watched long enough to turn my stomach...RB would not let Susan get a word in anywhere...she talked over Susan, was pushy and rude...absolutely unbelievable behavior toward a vendor.  I changed the chanel, came back later and it continued with RB dominating as if she was vendor and host...just the same.  I am not a fan of Susan due to her yapping style and I dislike RB's obnoxious hosting style, but her hosting this evening was really an awful way to treat a vendor.

Re: Hosts Please Let Vendors Talk

It happened again last night...

I stopped to look at the American Leather Co. (handbag) presentation with JT and SK...

The poor Vendor was barely able to get a word in edgewise, because JT kept talking, and interrupting and talking and interrupting, and talking and talking and talking!!! Smiley Sad

Needless to say, I didn't purchase the lovely bag - She got on my nerves so much, I just "changed the channel" Smiley Very Happy

I agree!Jen Coffey is so rude to Isaac! Does she really realize what a big deal he is?!!She talks over him and  interrupts him all the time. It's like she wants to show cool she is that she knows him and is so "familiar" with him! That has bothered me to a long time.Isaac is such an accomplished man;royalty in the industry. He should be treated with respect.

@LavernLuvsShoes  - I don't think Jane T will ever change her presentation style.  If the producers haven't done anything thus far, they never will.   If she would just cut the stories and tone it down, she'd be great.

(You should see all the complaints on Facebook about her)

None of them are watchable. The only way to get the Q's attention is to stop buying.

Re: Hosts Please Let Vendors Talk

I've often thought that there are some hosts that never allow the vendor to speak.   But lately, it seems like they are all interrupting..  Recently I saw David cut off several vendors every time they tried to speak!!

And all the hosts seem to be in a contest at how fast they can speak!  Shows are very different than they were when I first started watching QVC in early 1990's!
