Leah always has her nails done and they always look nice and classy, just like her. I must admit that some of the nails are like a bad car wreck, meaning I just can’t look away lol! But those nails are expensive, around a $100! Too much to have to keep up in my opinion but to each her own I guess. But maybe the exotic nail trend will die out soon

I like most of the host's nails.  I really don't know how the new mom hosts keep those long nails.  I watch my great grandson 2 days a week and when my nails get too long I'm afraid I'll scratch or poke him when dressing or changing him.  They must know how to get around that.

I remember Kathy Levine saying that on-air.  She said it was a big deal around Christmas time when the hosts were allowed to wear red nail polish.  Of course this was a very long time ago.

I remember back in the days that the hosts could not have their nails take away/distract from the product.  Their nails had a 'nice clean' look....

And you know this was a policy how?

If nails 'distract', I doubt I was interested in the product at all.

What 'distracts' someone, looks beautiful to someone else.

I edited my response....

The ones that are being highlighted right now on the Ree Drummond product - between the hand tattoos and the weirdly painted daggers holding the food -- yuck!!

Good grief. Hosts, like the rest of us, have busy lives. I don't care what hosts do or don't do with their nails.

I have always done my own nails, but I'm curious.  How much does an ordinary manicure cost?  My own nails and nothing extraordinary.

It is much more distracting when the nails are not taken care of than having nail art or long nails. Hang nails, dry skin, ratty unfiled nails, chipped polish, is not acceptable. The male hosts usually do a good job with buffing and trimming, there is one female host that I can think of specifically who needs to figure out if she is going to keep getting manicures or go natural, and if so, take of her nails.

I am not curious how someone changes a diaper with nails like that, but the host is not a unicorn and countless women in the country and world have figured it out for a long time.

@Stray ❄️⛄️

Jane NEVER did those pointed dagger nails until Courtney sported them.

I don’t like them on either one. 🥴
