LW often says, "Me and Xxxxx blah, blah, blah."  I cringe each time. She should know it is "Xxxxx and I blah, blah, blah."   LW has been working and selling in communications for decades and certainly should know better.

Yet, she also say, "Yeah" and "I know" (to herself) all of the time. Why? To use up air time? IDK. It drives me crazy.

I Googled the difference as as expected a difference of opinion.  In  my view... so what...?? we are watching to get product information not worry about misuse or misunderstanding or difference in usage.  

Does less and fewer mean the same thing?
However, it's not that simple . Since the reign of Alfred the Great, a time when Old English was spoken, less has been used in the same way that fewer is currently used. This long history of usage accounts for supermarkets posting the words "10 Items or Less" over the express lanes, when "10 Items or Fewer" is the grammatically correct option.

Fascinating to me that capitalization is perceived as "rude". I'd happily italicize, but for a number of reasons, and in the interest of more rapid communication i action, I DO use caps for emphasis.

The concept of rudeness/emphasis and its dichotomy is VERY recent in the spectrum of written communication, and a PERFECT example of the ever changing use of verbal communication in action, both written AND spoken, as both a tool and an art.

@D Kay @Your question is important. When it comes to the word fewer, it should be used for things that can be counted. When it comes to the word less, it should be used for things that can not be counted. Measurements are not the only instances that call for the word less to be used.

The vendors often use terrible language.  I have heard several say that such and such beauty products contain "NO ICKY STUFF"..... No that is so vey descriptive  and helpful👎
