Re: Gourmet Holiday Presentations

I watched some of it yesterday and the most glaring thing for me was with Dan totally interrupting and over-talking the vendor.  It was  so extreme that I ended up leaving.

I like kitchen or food shows.   But when it's Dan and Sharon, it's a bit too much.   He has his frenetic way and she seems to be having an 'experience', if you know what I mean, and it's quite off-putting.

LOL at gavone.

I find all the touching and mushing around of food, gushing over food, and over the top facial expressions -- Wait! Camera close-up! -- with mouthfuls of food pretty unappealing.

I love it when the host enjoy the product...I do wish that they're are more studio audience shows. Love David.

Wish that Susan graver would be less a host, and more of the designer. I counted over twenty times she verbally shut down the host with her blurting out her comments....out talking the host.. It appeared to be intentional almost.  Shame on you Susan graver. We like your designs, but not your manners

It's almost embarrassing to watch Dan present food.  Even if he's in the wings, he rushes back to gorge some more.  Can't watch him or SF do food shows.

@Krimpette  Ah, someone else picked up on SF and her food tasting techniques!

Re: Gourmet Holiday Presentations

Very hard to watch when Dan is the host.  He acts like he hasn't eaten in days and is always ready to take a taste before the vendor can even talk... He not only takes a taste he will eat like he is at dinner - taste after taste.  I love the food hour but he annoys the heck out of me with his bad behavior...Also not everything is yum....I have made some bad choices with several food items and that will be the end of it...
