I think Q would find what other retailers do to be of benefit. That being some kind of promotional thing every so often. Like a free shipping day, or free shipping after a certain amount. Perhaps a day where you get 20% off when spending a set amount or something. At least a couple of promotions a year, that aren't the joke of 'easy pay'.
They must think they don't need it, but it would be a great 'thank you' to the customers, and when customers feel valued they come back and spend more.

They use to send Birthday cards and Christmas cards with easy pay on request offers, but haven't received one in a while. Not a coupon but at least that was something.

I used to get a Christmas card, but that stopped several years ago. I've never gotten a birthday tote or anything. I would be motivated by say a 10% or 20% discount if one item. Actually, free shipping on one item ( or, gasp, one ORDER) would push my over the edge on a few items I'm considering.
Or they could take a cue from Zulily. Pay shipping on the first order, and then free shipping for 24 hours on subsequent orders.

Wow, that's a lot of money to spend on Christmas gifts. You must have a huge family. You might want to consider pulling names out of a hat or whatever and just only have to buy one gift for one person. We do that now, but I always get something for my mother also. I do wish the Q would offer coupons or something to their good customers who have been loyal for a long time. Don't see it happening though.

I've seen this kind of comment before & never responded but can't control myself this time. We all want to think that we are a good customer and maybe even that QVC couldn't exist without our purchases. The fact is QVC has millions and millions of "good" customers who spend hundreds and thousands a year. They aren't in the business of just giving away stuff. They are in the business of selling stuff. What they often do give to all of their their customers is prices that are lower than anywhere else for an exact same item or deals that include extra accessories or double the product for free that you would have to pay a premium for anywhere else. I've been a good customer for decades and I don't think I deserve anything from them. For the most part I've gotten excellent deals on products that I can't find elsewhere, that cost more anywhere else, & they've given me the convenience of not having to drive around hunting in a dozen stores to find what I want.
What I find interesting is that many online and b&m retailers want to keep their existing customers and offer promo codes, free shipping, and other perks. Q doesn't do that. So how and why do countless other retailers do it but Q can't/won't?
I haven't purchased from Q in almost a year. It's a shame, too, as I used to spend a lot.
But I can find anything Q sells elsewhere with free and fast shipping, promotion codes, and free returns. I always price/ship shop around. 99% of the time I find it for less elsewhere.
In addition, I'd never buy computers from Q. I've compared what they sell over the years and have yet to see the most current processor or programs.

The Q reports 90% of their business is "loyal" customers. Shady way to treat those who've been loyal for years.

I could not agree more. I buy EVERYTHING from QVC, spending several thousand dollars a year. Does seem that customers who spend that much over many years should be shown some kind of appreciation.

For me, I'm not one to expect anything for free.
All I feel that they owe me is the product I paid for being as advertised and arriving to me in good order, for the price I agreed to pay.
If they do that our contract is complete. ![]()
Anything a retailer, or other type of company might do for me, above and beyond, or give me for free is very nice. But I don't expect it.

That's good, @chickenbutt: the Q will never exceed your expectations. 8)

Ha! Good one, Taja.
Set a low bar, right? hehe - just kidding. I guess I came from so little and so much torment that if ya don't do something to hurt me, and you're fair with me, I'm ok. ![]()
