Free or reduced shipping day!

Would be so nice!! Why is the shipping charge for some shoes $3, while others are $7? The QVC high shipping fees for items, always stops me from buying more than one. All those fees add up!

I completely agree, but I'm not holding my breath. The last thing I ordered from QVC was free shipping, and that was the deciding factor in ordering it here . Unfortunately, they will probably just offer more easy pays.

Re: Free or reduced shipping day!

I make suggestions for free shipping days/events all the time, but I have yet to see it. Be glad that all you have to pay is $3-$7. Here in Hawaii & in Alaska, our shipping rates are far higher, and oftentimes are more than the actual savings of an ODO or TSV.  Our average shipping is $13 & often higher.

Recently I wanted to purchase a Philosophy shower gel duo that was a ODO. The shipping was $20, so needless to say, I didn't get it. There was no savings for me at all. My only real savings comes when I can get something with free shipping, which is quite rare, given the items I most like to purchase from QVC.

As long as QVC depends on shipping as an important source of revenue, free will be scarce indeed.

I wanted to buy 3 light weight items, but the shipping cost me $16.50.  I decided to look elsewhere.  HSN has some really good deals with free shipping or lower cost shipping - so I am headed over there.

Shipping isn't bad when you purchase one item.  When you put a couple items in the cart, it really adds up.  I usually end up reassessing things and either buy one or none.  Once shipping gets over $10, count me out.

Easy pay is available for everything at some point here, even $10 items with $3 for shipping.

I am of the opinion that all TSV's should have free shipping. So much of the time anymore the TSV price is only about $3-5 off the regular price that I won't even order it because of the shipping rate. I will price check Amazon most times anyway because I have Prime with free shipping.

Re: Free or reduced shipping day!

Back during the holidays, Q did free shipping for everything two times I believe.

It was a wonderful thing for them to do for their customers.

I think they should do it about once a quarter. If they don't announce it until the day of, it shouldn't be a case of people waiting to buy anything until free ship day, as many people would either want or need an item before that, or be afraid it would sell out and buy it anyway.
