Hoods can be bulky but I do like them on a casual everyday type coat when I sometimes get caught in a little rain and don't have a umbrella with me.   Nice to be able to just pop it up to protect my hair.  Woman Wink

I like hoods on jackets or coats as long as they are removable...I can't stand them on tops or sweaters!  What am I supposed to do with the hood when I need to put a jacket over the top?...does the hood sit over on top of the  upper back of the jacket?  I don't think that's a good look.
