The "nails" are always an alert for me ... and kind of tacky.

I think they are meant to be a distraction so that you don't notice the flaws in what they are selling.

I agree the fake nails are just too much especially the ones that have sharp points.  I know it seems silly that something would distract but those fake nails look terrible in my opinion.  I guess it is the trend and some have to follow the trends.  Some of the hosts are so fake these days.  I miss the old hosts that seemed more genuine.

The ones I really don't like on QVC hosts are the ones with dark dot things sprinkled on them. Distracting. It looks like some large insect came along and pooped on your nails or something.😲

Doesn't matter to me what kind of nails they have.  I enjoy looking at some of them, get ideas for colors and although I don't do designs on my nails, I do like to look at them on other people.

I think those are new almond shapes. They do look like daggers especially with red polish. Distracting.

The exgerated nail decor started about 2 years ago with 2 new hosts starting at QVC .... Vanessa & Monifa ... Somebody should tell them to tone it down. because it looks "clownish"
