Many of us us are finding it difficult to express ourselves in a meaningful way because threads are removed and we don't understand why. Other threads and posts stand as is even though they are getting quite heated and fueled by repeat ofenders.
I respectfully ask that you refer to the thread in Among Friends about the "forum's demise". We all seem concerned about the lack of participation and some think it may be over-moderation and others (me, included) feel the rules may need to be loosened up a bit (more subjects allowed) due to the winds of change of important and relevant topics in today's environment.
Is there a way this can be implemented before we lose more posters and the inactivity of our forums continues?
Thanks, Mods for your difficult position and I appreciate your consideration in this matter.

@Shanus All of us are not frustrated At least one of us would leave the forums very quickly if they became contentious political sites.

I think it would be bad for business as well.

I agree.

I totally agree with the OP. I miss the days before they had moderators staring at every post. As long as there is a disclaimer somewhere saying the opinions expressed here belong to the poster and do not reflect the values and opinions of QVC, I would think a little less supervision would be just fine.

@Shanus Not everyone wants this. All of what you ask for will turn political in the blink of an eye. If you're not seeing what happens on posts before they are poofed then I will tell you they turn political and nasty. There are plenty of forums with no moderation where you can post every day happenings and politics to your hearts content.

@Shanus. Rather than challenging moderation, which your thread is, I suggest you join a forum that is more to your liking. You'll find thousands that allow political discussion, which is what you are getting at.

This post has been removed by QVC because it is baiting

OK. I suppose I misread the opinions.

Why should the mods make a change for you?
If you have a problem with the boards, adjust your posts and the threads you start. There are plenty of interesting conversations.
*sigh*
