As far as I'm concerned, the exchange policy is just a big joke. By the time your original order gets out of "In Process" and then delivered, and then returned by you, and received at QVC and shipped out again, I would forget what it was I ordered! Most of the time it would be out of stock by that time anyway.
I just SMH when the hosts gush over the wonderful exchange policy.
Sometime when you actually receive the item, it is just not worth the hassel of trying to exchange, so it becomes a return. If I truly want the item, I will just re-order and pay the return postage. The postage cost is not worth the stress of the exchange policy.

If you really want the item, just reorder and pay extra shipping. IF, I get the exchange it takes a weeks.

I called CS before my last exchange a few months ago. The size I needed was limited so they sent it out right away. I actually kept the original until the second one came so that I could compare fit (it is an outerwear jacket, so some flexibility on fit, and I want a little more room for heavier clothes underneath).
The rep put a note in the file not to charge me for the return shipping. I was charged, but called and they reversed the charge. It pays to make a phone call.

@Magny @Beth-QVC That is terrific of you to assist in the exchange. If I may make a suggestion for you to push up to the "upper management", if doing an exchange, once your package has left your possession, the replacement item should be shipped.
As it is right now, its up to the customer to wait until the package is processed, which can take weeks, makes the exchange all but impossible if there are limited choices.
I have tried to return items for a different size, and most of the time, the item sold out by the time the package is in transit and then processed by the warehouse.
Or, have a different address that the exchanges are sent to so those items can be processed and or tracked (if not yet received back to QVC) and replacement orders filled more quickly.
