@Gabidog,  how incredibly selfish and self centered.

I don't like it so no one else should have access to it.

If it is so "unwatchable" for you then simply stop turning it on which, clearly, you must still do.

While there are some hosts that I do not care to watch, the airing of the products attracts my attention and often entices me to buy. I ordered 3 items from HSN this morning that I did not know existed, and this past month QVC's on air shows sold me on a Dyson, 2 food items, bras, and 6 holiday gifts.

Don't lose the on-air side of business QVC!!!!

I like many of the on air presentations. However it would be nice if they could make short videos of the many different items that they sell which don't make it to the big screen.

That would probably cost them too much to do but I think many of those items that only have a photo or two would have a better chance of selling.

Most commentary on this forum  usually complains about hosts and presentations so I now see everyone loves on air QVC when I suggest eliminating it!  Well, I am neither selfish, self centered or rooting for unemployment!  How nasty!  I believe if QVC wants to be better and do better then bold moves need to happen.  I see no reason for multiple channels when more products with shorter presentations could be done on one.  Online items need better information.  I used to have QVC on almost every day for hours and now I find it simply annoying...sorry, my opinion and would rather tune in to a charmin ad.  After an all day food show I can't eat!  So I don't watch anymore.  I watch the presentations after  so I can not waste time watching people chew. Trying to boost sales with silliness just seems well, silly.  So those who really enjoy watching silly be my guest!  I just think maybe an Amazon should buy QVC and then maybe there would be more emphasis on product and customer satisfaction.  When a stock tumbles to delisting then hopefully changes will occur.

Paragraphs and a larger font would make it easier to read all your complaints.  Too difficult on my eyes to go very far.

Posters have mentioned how much it helps them read, and I have found that to be true also.

Re: End QVC on air

[ Edited ]

LOL - when other posters disagree with the OP, suddenly they are "nasty" or "silly".

Or someone else is criticized for expressing a differing opinion by being told that the OP is only expressing "her opinion"!  Ironic.  (The second poster isn't allowed to express her opinion?")

And jumping to the conclusion "now everyone loves on air QVC"?  I don't believe everyone has commented or said that.  From the sublime to the ridiculous, in my opinion.

(Just to add:  I'm fine with live on-air QVC.  I don't watch 24/7.  I watch the shows I'm interested in, period.)

@Gabidog

While I agree with many of your suggestions I don't think completely removing host led shows should go away but they can use a make over!  Shorter presentations, more and different presentations, hosts concentrating on product information and NO SILLINESS would be a good start.

Hosts are not our friends but salespeople who care about sales.    I don't care about their kids, or anything about their personal lives, just product info.

How would you improve YOUR QVC watching experience?

I do not watch period.  If someone mentions something of interest on these boards I will go look at the online recorded presentation just to see what it is.  If I am purchasing a new D&B from their website I come here to see if a presentation was done on that bag to get a better view of it.  Since I have only purchased one item from the Q. in the last 12 years and 8 months then I would not be bothered if they changed up their programming.

@Gabidog.  QVC is expert on what techniques grenerate the most sales.   They aren't likely to change anything that makes the cash registers ring just because it may be our preference.   Their first responsibility is to their stockholders and making a profit.
