ENOUGH WITH ALL OF THE EMAILS

I get waaay too many emails for an order.  Confirmation, shipping, update on shipping, update on arrival, the package has arrived.  ENOUGH.  All I want is a confirmation, and shipping date.  THAT'S ALL.  The link within the shipping info is enough for me to follow the item.  I DON'T NEED A MILLION UPDATES flooding my in box.

ANYONE ELSE FEEL THIS WAY?

I understand it can be frustrating, but I do not feel that way. I am grateful for the process!😁 I would rather receive notifications and updates along the way, than not enough information; requiring me to call customer service. Those wait times can be quite long!😊 I just delete anything I do not want in my inbox.😃

All I ever get is order confirmations and shipping notifications. Never have gotten shipping updates once it's shipped.

@japes - I agree with you. I was getting a ridiculous amount of marketing email from QVC, so I unsubscribed from all email except alerts about orders, but now there are too many of those messages as well. I like getting an order confirmation email right away, and I welcome the email notifying me the order has shipped—but the "your order arrives soon" message is pointless since it is sometimes sent before the shipping confirmation email, sometimes 3-4 days before the package arrives, and sometimes on the day the package arrives. And letting me know the package has been delivered is unnecessary, though I can see how this may be desirable to some people.

These additional messages are particularly useless when I'm able to check the status of the order online at any time and I receive updates from the courier that are very specific and helpful. I realize that it is easy to just delete these extra emails—and I do that all the time—but it would be nice if there were another level of opting out that could be applied.

I don't get any emails from QVC.  I do from HSN and other retailers but I should opt out of them too.  Too much junk in the inbox.

Re: ENOUGH WITH ALL OF THE EMAILS

Damned if they do, damned if they don't.  Some customers complain that they don't get enough email notices from QVC.

Just opt out of them, if you don't want to receive any.  Although, they likely will still send the minimum confirmation of order and shipment.

Re: ENOUGH WITH ALL OF THE EMAILS

I would rather get the extra e-mails about shipping or order arriving soon, than having to keep checking my order status.  I read them and delete - no big deal.  Sometimes QVC can't win no matter what they do.

Re: ENOUGH WITH ALL OF THE EMAILS

For those who somehow aren't aware of this or aren't really paying attention to the details being shared here, there is no way to opt out of these alerts because they're all associated with orders. For each order I place, I receive five to six emails from QVC:

• Yay! We Received Your Order
• Great News! Your Order Has Shipped
• Your Order Arrives Soon (How Exciting!)

• Your Package Will Arrive Soon (sometimes sent more than once)
• Your Package Has Arrived

Alerts #3 and #4 above—especially multiples of the latter—are absolutely unnecessary and I don't see how they're helpful to anybody when they aren't sent in a consistent way. Communication is great, but there's no need for overcommunication and trying to create some kind of false special connection by sending a million emails from "Your Friends at QVC."

Re: ENOUGH WITH ALL OF THE EMAILS

I wish that was all I had to worry about in this lifetime, too many emails confirming my order, the shipping and the supposed arrival date.  I would be happy as a lark.
