I want to buy some distressed jeans, but all the ones you have...hardly look distressed.  Please make some with rips near the knees...but different on each leg, as well as worn areas..  Don't put the distressing up at the top where a shirt will cover it.  I am just 60, and want to wear these!!  I am also looking for some cold shoulder tops, tunic length, with sleeves to the elbow and a smile hem!  TY  Brenda

I'm not a fan of distressed jeans at all, but if I were, I might try to do my own distressing.  Why not just distress a pair of jeans you already have?  I guess I don't understand the need to pay good money for that particular "style".  Seems like we used to do a form of "distressing"  on our own back in the "old days".

@Krimpette  I have some fairly expensive distressed jeans and they are somehow made so as not to rip more and fall apart.  If you did it yourself they would keep ripping.

@BrendaJC Hi there! I too love my distressed jeans and have them in almost every color. I buy most of mine at HSN so try G by Guiliana. When Cooke Johnson was selling herline of high end jeans there she had a very nice selection of distressed jeans with the holes near the knees. Also try Evine and E-Bay. Most QVC shoppers are not interested in buying jeans that look used and beat up.  Go shop at Goodwill or buy a nice pair, some scissors, sandpaper and go to work on them.

Somebody is selling them.  Recently, I was flipping through some magazines and they were everywhere.  It caught my attention.  I guess I hadn't realized they are so popular.

@Krimpette  They would rip really fast and end up with the legs coming apart and falling off in no time.  I wore naturally ripped jeans in the '70's and they did not last that long before falling completely apart once they ripped.  I guess you could coat the edges with fabric glue once they were distressed enough.
